Founded in 1999, Hyde Leadership is a non-profit, tax-exempt institution governed by an independent Board of Trustees. Hyde Leadership is one of D.C.'s largest public charter schools. By the 2004 school year it will be a K-12 school with over 1,000 students. The core philosophy of Hyde Leadership PCS is that each individual is gifted with a unique potential that defines a destiny. Unique potential is developed through a character-based curriculum that stresses a student-parent-teacher partnership and creates a family-school bond.
