Watch entire program with Steve Burke at Gonzaga College High School
From the Site of Gonzaga College High School:
Gonzaga College High School, the oldest educational institution in the old Federal City of Washington, opened its doors to young men in 1821. It was then located on the north side of F Street, N.W., between 9th and 10th Streets. In 1871 the school moved to Eye Street, N.W., where it is located today. The excellence of Gonzaga's academic program and the spirit of the school, fostered by a dedicated and superb faculty, have consolidated it into the most successful Catholic school in Washington. Its academic and co-curricular program seeks to respond to present day needs and yet incorporate rigorous standards in order to prepare students for college careers.
