C-SPAN is a non-profit company, privately funded by America's cable television companies, without government or taxpayer support. The C-SPAN networks provide access to commercial-free public affairs programming without editing, commentary or analysis.
The C-SPAN School Bus is a mobile production studio and media demonstration center that tours the country to demonstrate C-SPAN's and the cable television industry's commitment to education.
